From the Strawberry Basin Trailhead parking space, the path begins behind the pit rest room and follows nicely maintained switchbacks as much as Strawberry Lake. After you’re finished taking within the sights on the lake, you may go both route on the fork within the path you got here in on to get across the lake. Turning proper to go alongside the west facet of the lake is a .8 mile trek, going left to hug the east financial institution is .4 miles. There are a ton of campsites within the space. However this lake is just a mile from the trailhead, so that you’ll probably encounter different campers, fishers, and SUPers/kayakers right here – particularly on the weekend.
