A Royal Caribbean cruise ship has repositioned to Port Canaveral and the world’s largest cruise line, Royal Caribbean, now has 4 cruise ships crusing from the port.
Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas is now providing cruises from Port Canaveral for the 2022-2023 winter season.
“We’re thrilled to have Jewel of the Seas at Port Canaveral and really excited to welcome her as our fourth Royal Caribbean Worldwide homeported ship,” acknowledged Capt. John Murray, Port CEO. “Our companions at RCI have entrusted us with a few of their most precious property and we couldn’t be extra proud.”
Consistent with custom, Port Canaveral executives offered Jewel of the Seas Captain Trond Holm with a plaque commemorating the cruise ship’s first go to to Port Canaveral.
The cruise ship presents six and eight evening cruises from Port Canaveral to the Jap, Western, and Southern Caribbean. The cruises embrace a cease on the cruise line’s personal island within the Bahamas , Good Day at CocoCay.
The 962 foot, 90,000 ton cruise ship has a visitor capability of roughly 2,700 passengers.
Jewel of the Seas joins three different Royal Caribbean Worldwide cruise ships homeported at Port Canaveral – the world’s largest cruise ship Marvel of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, and Mariner of the Seas.
