It looks as if each out of doors sport began when a ragtag bunch of misfits acted on some harebrained thought. And freeride mountain biking isn’t any exception.
Norco Bicycles calls its ‘90s origin story “a revolution fueled by rising MTB expertise, BC’s distinctive geography, and janky, hand-shot VHS edits shot by the pioneers who had been unknowingly documenting the lore of the game.”
Video and bike expertise have each come a good distance since then. The remainder of it hasn’t wanted to.
