The Ministry of Pure Assets and Forestry (MNRF) is inviting younger artists to take part in its twentieth annual Children’ Fish Artwork Contest. Entry is free and the competition is open to all Ontario college students. The classes are Grades 4-6, Grades 7-9, and Grades 10-12.
This yr’s featured fish are the longnose gar and lake trout. Just one entry per scholar will probably be accepted. The successful art work, introduced in March 2023, will probably be featured within the 2024 Ontario Fishing Laws. The competition closes Dec. 31, 2022.
